Seminary Students | Pastoral Training Program

If you’re currently seeking a top-notch, meaningful pastoral training program, look no further than TACT! We take pride in our high quality programming and resources.

The TACT Program: A Truly Reputable Pastoral Training Program

The Town and Country Training Program (or TACT) is the #1 program of its kind! The primary goal of the program is to prepare students for becoming pastors in small towns. In addition, each course seeks to provide students with in-depth knowledge surrounding rural American life.

TACT courses typically cover town and country ministry, common pastoral expectations and tasks, and various other in-depth and immersive subjects.

Did you know the TACT program has been deemed one of the all-around best pastoral training programs in the nation? This reputation is largely due to its superior classes, highly trained faculty, and deep level of cultural immersion.

TACT instructors are top-level practitioners in the field of rural ministry. We’re dedicated to improving the spiritual health of rural communities everywhere!

The Rural Home Missionary Association: About Us

The Rural Home Missionary Association began in 1942, when Rev. C.J. Rediger was the pastor at a church in Central Illinois. Rev. Rediger was privy to the transition of the American population from rural areas to cities. He saw the need for improving the health of the rural church, and soon the Rural Home Missionary Association was born!

Today, the RHMA’s focus is to strengthen churches in small towns and rural areas across America. Every year, we conduct several conferences, workshops, and seminars, all dedicated to our mission. The RHMA has an incredible widespread impact on communities and students everywhere.
