Costs

Tuition, For-Credit Students

Seminary students registering through their schools do not pay a separate tuition fee. They simply pay their regular per-hour tuition fee to their school and the school pays a fee to the TACT Program. In this way, any grants or scholarships the student may have can also fund TACT classes without additional paperwork. There are no additional fees for the cultural immersion components.

Tuition, Non-Credit Students

There are a limited number of spots available for those who want to audit a course. The fee is $150.00 for the week.

Tuition, Student’s Spouse

If a registered student’s spouse wishes to attend a TACT Program course there are limited spots available for a cost of $125.00 for the week.

Transportation

Significant financial assistance for transportation costs is available for students who are taking a class for credit. Contact the TACT Program Administrator for more information.

Housing

Some free housing with local Christian families is available Sunday night through Friday morning on a first-come, first-served basis. (This must be arranged through the TACT Administrator at least four weeks before class.) There are several hotels within walking distance of the TACT Program site and TACT will make every effort to negotiate the best possible rates for students.

Meals

Some meals will be provided as part of cultural immersion experiences. This will usually not be more than four meals (lunches or suppers) in any one week. All other meals will be at the student’s expense. A number of restaurants ranging from fast food franchises to medium-priced family dining, as well as a Wal-Mart Super Center, are available within walking distance of the TACT Progam site and the hotels.
